Ok so I am a woman- I get PMS and extreme chocolate cravings (all leads to grease, spots and redness on my face....which is a big NO NO) But so how can I get clear and glowing skin?
Here are my tips:
1.)Drink as much water as you can- it will clear all the toxins from your body which will lead to clearer skin :)
(if you don't like water I suggest perhaps exercising and then drinking water- I don't like water myself but when I exercise or walk I like to drink water...call me weird)
2.)Healthy Balanced Diet.....yeah right...last time I checked I was eating an egg and cheese bagel and nutella pancakes (thinking about this now makes me happy)
You know the promises we all make....''I'm not eating chocolate from Monday'' or ''I am never eating greasy fast food again''....who are you lying to?
BUT, I am here to help: Don't tell yourself that you won't eat chocolate or fast food and all those empty promises because you are only telling your brain that it can't have something and then you start thinking about it more and more until you give in the temptation......SO, trick your own mind! Want to be healthy? If you see chocolate and you want some tell yourself ''You know what I want this but right now it's not good for me, however it is my choice, I can get it if I want but I CHOOSE not to'' We love choices. Who likes to be restricted? Well neither does your brain....so tell yourself that it is a choice that you made and not a tempting restriction.
Eating less crap foods such as chocolate, greasy fast foods and eating more fruits and veg will give you more glowing, less dull skin....and YOU will love it.
3.) Skin care- I have a very strict skin care regime, I do this every morning using the same products (this enables the products to work effectively - and remember no product will give instant results)
First, when I decide to move my fat arse to the bathroom in the morning whilst looking like a zombie, I first use an exfoliating scrub- best scrub I have used so far has been the Clearsil Ultra Rapid Action Scrub (approx. £5) http://www.pharmacy2u.co.uk/clearasil-ultra-rapid-action-scrub-p1952.html?utm_source=sfeed&utm_medium=google&utm_term=clearasil-ultra-rapid-action-scrub&utm_campaign=main. By using the scrub I get rid of the top layer of my skin which allows my pores to open and allows the following products to really sink into the pores and work better.
TIP: scrub gently as you do not want to aggravate the skin!!
I then, wash the scrub off with lukewarm water which will allow the pores to open up and I apply my Clearsil Ultra All in 1 Wash and Mask (approx. £5) http://www.auravita.com/product/Clearasil-Ultra-All-In-1-Wash-Mask.RBPC10326.html?RefId=220&adid=RBPC10326 and I leave it on my skin for a few minutes to really allow the product to get into the pores and work its magic. I have used many acne products and treatments but I really love the clearsil products, I also have friends and family members who agree..I would suggest trying all the ''ultra'' products as I find that the normal clearsil products are not as effective for me, but if you want clear skin I would definitely try these two!!
After about 5 minutes I wash the product off with once again lukewarm water and I then apply the Loreal Paris Dermo Expertise Pearl Perfect Re-lighting Whitening Facial Foam (approx. £12) http://uk.ozcosmetics.com/LOreal_Dermo_Expertise_Pearl_Perfect_Re_Lighting_Whitening_Facial_Foam_100g_3_3oz/133154.aspx and this product is for the ''glow''- the clearsil products give the clear skin and this loreal facial wash gives a glow as it work against dullness for your skin to looks brighter and luminous.
I hope that you can all follow this advice and perhaps try these products, I use them every morning and not evening (I don't want to strip my skin of all the natural oils). But remember that every one has a different skin what may work for your friends may not work for you and what works for me may not work for you. Good Luck!!

Great post!
Definitely going to try your suggestions as I have tried huunddredds without success but these may do the trick!!
Hey :) I would suggest using the same products for at least 3 months before judging it because for us to really see how a product has changed our skin it takes about 2-3 months. My tip would be to stick to the same routine for a couple of months :)
Also, have you tried rubbing a small amount of salicylic acid on any break outs? It is extremely drying so if you decide to use it I suggest only on the areas where you have a spot and with a cotton ball.
Hope this helps xoxo
