Simple, Quick and Easy Going Out Look

Hola Senoritas :)

We all have those days where we are unexpectedly asked to go out somewhere or have been so busy we just don't have time to be playing with make up. This is my going out make up that takes no more than 7 minutes :)
--->Simple, Quick and Easy

Step 1:
I have already applied my Loreal studio secrets primer and tinted moisturiser (if your skin is looking great don't use foundation tinted moisturiser is much better and still gives you a bit coverage, initially you could use a TINY amount of foundation in places that you feel need a bit more coverage). Below is a picture of my eye before putting any eye product on (except primer)

Step 2:
I apply this beige/creamy eye shadow from a MAC palette (which I got years ago, so I don't think it is still in the store. However I'm sure you can find a similar colour elsewhere.

I apply this eye shadow all over my lids to brighten up the eyes- it looks really lovely as it has shimmer in it which look beautiful on the lids.

Step 3: Eyeliner
I am using the MUA black eyeliner (£1) and I apply it in my waterline on the top and bottom. I then create a thin line on the top lash line and keeping the eyeliner as close to the eyelashes as possible (in order to create a "not over the top" look). As I go further away from my inner of my eye I great a thicker line this makes the look much more sexy as it draws more attention to the eyes.

Step 4:
I take my eyelash curler and curl my eyelashes pressing gently 3 times.

TIP: to make the curl last longer heat the eye lash curler with a hairdryer or breathe on it for a few seconds. The heat will help the curler to work more effectively.

Step 5: Mascara
I use this Rimmel scandal eyes mascara. I apply 3 of the  mascara. However, how many coats you apply is totally up to preference.
Link to buy this mascara (by the way; it's AMAZING) : http://www.superdrug.com/eyes/rimmel-scandaleyes-mascara-black/invt/300952/&bklist=

Now its time for.......EYEBROWS

Step 6:
I use the Estee Lauder Brow Perfecting Duo (which is also sold out)
BUT...any brow pencils that you already use or brow kits e.g. HD brow kit will all do the same job so not to worry if you don't have THESE particular products :)

This is how the brow kit looks when closed---->

This is how the brow kit looks when opened and I really like this product as it has a small brow brush inside the compact along with the eyebrow brush to fill int he eyebrows.

The brown powder/shadow is to fill in the eyebrows and the skin coloured cream is to add luminosity at the brow bones ...SEXY

Now this is how the finished make up look:

Estee Lauder: Advanced Night Repair Serum Review

Hola! :)

Today I am going to talk about my experience with the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum which I have been using for over 5 months.

I purchased the 75 ml bottle of this serum at a cost of approximately £60 (I do not remember exactly and currently on the Estee Lauder website you can only purchase the 25ml and 50ml). Please, don't think I'm crazy for buying something so expensive! Before I bought it I have done an immense amount of reading and research about the product; I went on websites to check reviews and really did a ridiculous amount of research.
I thought 'Hey, let's buy this sucker' and so I did.

On my first use of this product, it broke me out. Like a mother******!! I was so angry with this product and I hated it. However I had to research as to why this product gave me some mahoosive spots on my face  . And then I found out that when you use a new product for the first time, it may break you out but it means that it is working :0...as your skin is getting used to this new product!

So I decided to give this product a second chance! After a few more days of break outs, they finally started to decrease and my skin started to like this product.

If I have any spots that leave a scar (which they always do) I use this serum like crazy and it actually decreases the scarring and after a week or 2 of using this serum my scars disappeared or faded.
I have read many reviews where women have used this product on their spots and not scars and it broke them out even more, but this is all down to each and individual skin. What may work for me, may not work for you! So I suggest if you want to try a new product, go to the counter and ask for a sample or purchase a sample off amazon or any other website that sells them; that way you will know whether the product works for your skin or not!! But...NEVER judge the product after one use, you're skin will only be adjusting to it and may react differently.

On the Estee Lauder website I found that this is what they claim with this product:
''Exclusive Chronolux™ Technology helps reduce the appearance of past damage. Visible signs of ageing look improved-specifically lines, uneven skintone and immediate hydration.
Enhanced Environmental Repair means Advanced Night Repair helps defend skin.
Enjoy Continuous Hydration as Advanced Night Repair creates the optimal environment for renewal with nature's long-proven moisture magnet, Hyaluronic Acid. ''
I am young so I did not use this product under my eyes as I do not need the anti- aging (just yet), however I noticed that it did even out my skin tone which was very uneven and patchy.
But one thing I don't agree is that it immediately hydrated my skin, if anything I felt like my skin was drier with using this product and so I would put this serum on, wait for it to dry and then apply moisturiser.

I also did not like the way that the product is applied:

As I found it hard to get the product out and it was all messy :/

So......I do like this serum as it does what it claims to (mostly) and I found that it really did even out my skin tone by fading my acne scars (that was extremely impressive) However, it is quite a drying product and therefore a moisturiser has to be used after it dries on your skin which can be a bit of a hussle at night!!!

I do have a hate/love relationship with this serum as at times I think it is just revolutionary and at other times I want to smash it on the floor. But, it does work and does what it claims too, I am not big on the application of it.

However this is my experience with this serum and it lasts for a long time!!!! So it was worth the money!
